Description
Moose are primarily browsers feeding on the stems, bark, and leaves of trees and shrubs. They also consume grasses, sedges, and aquatic plants, especially in summer. Two bull moose had spent all afternoon browsing the willow leaves and other lush riparian vegetation here in the Thorofare over the Yellowstone and Beaverdam marsh.
