Description
The Giraffe historically ranged wherever trees occur in the arid and dry-savanna zones of sub-Saharan Africa. Presently, the Giraffe’s range has contracted significantly due to habitat degradation, poaching and the expansion of human populations. Giraffes are selective browsers. Th Acacia species constitutes the bulk of their diet.
