Description
The morning fog moved slowly down the river, hanging silently in the air above the Lower Falls. Soft, diffuse light illuminated the yellow rock ridge which buttressed the south rim near Artist’s Point. This is one of the most beautiful canyons in the world, and fortunately, it is protected in the first national park.
