Description
Less than one day old, this moose calf walked out on wobbly little legs into the shallow water where her mom was browsing the new willow leaves. The cow was busy with feeding, watching for threats to her helpless young calf, and making sure the calf didn’t wander into deep water or get tangled in the brush.
