Description
Pine martens are related to weasels, otter, badgers and skunks. They live in heavy forests and primarily eat rodents like squirrels and chipmunks. They have large feet to help them travel across the snow and are phenomenal climbers. Rarely seen at any time of the year, they leave a lot of tracks on the snow, and they are more common than we might think.
