Description
A small herd of pronghorn does and kids was moving south near Stephens Creek during a light early morning rain shower. The sun appeared briefly through the clouds and spotlit this one doe and produced a rainbow above her. She stopped about 300 yards away to watch me set up my tripod and frantically make six photographs before she walked on and the rainbow vanished. Rainbows are ephemeral and pronghorn are very skittish, so it is hard to get them together in the same frame.
