Description
At seven months old this pronghorn antelope is completelyindependent of her mother, but like most other ungulates, she will stay witha herd for her entire life. The security of pronghorn depends on theirability to run very fast for long distances. Deep snow is deadly, not onlydoes it cover up their food, but it prevents them from running away frompredators.
