Ravens are very intelligent birds, with strong social bonds, capable of tool manufacture and complex problem solving. Watching a raven for a period of time, we easily observe a creature who is curious, playful and intimately aware of his own world. We can learn a lot about our world by watching a raven enjoying it. They survive summer heat, high altitude, deep snow cover, extreme wind and cold, and seem to thrive in their chance at life.
