Description
Ravens are possibly the smartest birds in Yellowstone Park. There is extensive literature on the common raven, and all studies point to their strong social bonds, communication skills, memory, and sense of play. Their heavy beaks are used to adroitly manipulate objects and tear apart prey. Their grip is strong enough to hang by their beaks from perches.
