Description
In February and March 1985 I cross-country skied solo across Yellowstone. My 125-mile route took me up and over Big Game Ridge on the South boundary of the park. The main reason I climbed the ridge was for the view. Looking south I could see the Tetons and looking north, shown here, I could see the Red Mountains and Heart Lake area. This was the fifth day of my fourteen-day trip and one of the two days that it didn’t storm.
