Description
Thousands of little terraces are created from the deposition of silicates in the overflowing hot water from hot springs. Each of these ridges is about half an inch tall. A later burst of heavier flow flooded a section of these terraces with more silicates, creating something that looked like a thin crust of melted sugar.
